Ryanair is once again involved in a serious accident. A Ryanair Boeing 737 hits a US Air Boeing 767 with the wing on the taxiway before departure from Barcelona. In spite of the fact that even the passengers were trying to make the Ryanair Captain stop the takeoff both aircrafts departed, and the US Air crossed the Atlantic with a damaged tail plan
It will be interesting to see if the FAA and the Irish and Spanish CAA will act on this or if the interest of the low service airlines is more important than flight safety in these financially troubled days. Judging from the Aviation Herald Ryanair is more exposed to incidents and accidents than any other larger European airline with the exception of Airfrance. http://avherald.com/h?search_term=ryanair&opt=0&dosearch=1&search.x=0&search.y=0
